Water Management, or drainage!
This little problem was interesting, the conservatory floor leaks creating a damp smell and obviously rotting away any nice flooring, there was discussion of removing the conservatory altogether, but I suggested there may be a cheaper solution to help.
While the conservatory has a strong damp proof membrane, water was still getting in, the patio level outside was higher than the floor level inside, there was also a downpipe exiting onto the patio, which could have been connected to the drain system 3m away!
I proposed installing a drainage channel across the front of the conservatory to take all the patio, roof and garden water away into the nearby drain.
Once I cut a 100mm wide channel through the patio and dug out the thin base I found the membrane installed so badly that failure was inevitable, had it been wrapped up to the sills of the building it might have worked, I was able to elevate it better and when I installed the drainage channel I sealed it as best I could.
The first pic shows the continued damp ground where the water had nowhere to go, you can see in later pics the rucked up mambrane, and it laying flat below the patio, effectively collecting water and directing it into the building, the side access on the boundary had the membrane loose and catich gravel, dirt and water, I trimmed and tucked it up under the sill of the conservatory then layed a ground pipe to take as much water as possible into the drain by the house wall.
