Trust

I know trust is extremely important to you, I understand that I may be entering your property when you’re not in or you have children or vulnerable people nearby, maybe even protective or nervous pets! 

I often work in elderly people’s homes where I’ve been booked in by their family and carers, so if you would like to meet me first, possibly during a quotation with a friend – please don’t hesitate to ask and please don’t think you might upset me, your personal comfort comes first, I can work around your needs to complete the task.

If you would like someone else present when I undertake the job then you are very welcome, I won’t be upset.

Ultimately if you don’t feel comfortable – please just say, I would rather you be honest so we can resolve any issues asap.

Other considerations:
I don’t take my shirt off when I’m working, I rarely play radios on your property, and certainly not loud if I do (I mostly wear earphones), my wife has trained me to remove my shoes indoors – I have overcovers for times when protective footwear is essential, I provide my own food and drink – I love a cup of tea but never expect one, I won’t bring my dog with me, I don’t like a messy site and I clean up properly before I leave.

‘The help’
Sometimes I need another pair of hands, I only work with a couple of people I trust and have known for years. Again, if you want to meet them prior to starting the project – please just ask.

Money
Please see my pricing page for a full explanation, but in short: I do not charge up front, I will only ever ask for the cost of the expensive materials in advance and often you will pay the supplier direct so your financial protection remains in place (eg credit cards).
