A complete new shower enclosure to fit a narrow room, this was a whole new install, I was fortunate to be able to access the cavity floor below and install a power shower pump. The hot and cold feeds for the bathroom’s sink needed to be chased into the wall on the shower’s left wall and the roof repaired where they came through from the floor above, then I could use them to feed the power pump, then I took the pump’s outlet pipes and also chased them into the back wall to feed the new chrome mixer unit, I also plumbed in the shower waste below the floor with a valve system that allowed me to tap into the soil pipe of the toilet opposite. The magnetic shower door was fitted and then I could tile the 3 walls. Various trim and sealants were used to give it a neat and watertight finish including an unusual turquoise grout to suit the tiles provided by Everett Tiles in Seaford.
