This shed roof was leaking as the felt was completely dead, I stripped the old material off and all the nails, but it needed some new edges beneath to hold it all together, once these were screwed on I stapled a sheet of heavy duty polythene over it and then tacked on the new black felt, this way if the felt gets damaged there is still another waterproof membrane protecting the contents of the shed. This took just over an hour including nipping out to Wickes for the edge battens.
