This little porch’s roof felt had finally given up, I anticipated replacing the entire construction but once the felt was removed it was clear the old timber was actually very good. I decided to cover it with a larger sheet of marine ply with some tilt fillets which will help guide the rain water away from the 2 main areas you enter the front door by, I then sealed the whole new surface with a felt sealant before installing the new felt as neatly as I could with new drips. The whole job took approximately 3 hours. I will polish the white plastics when I return to strip and repaint the posts.
