My client wanted a new front path for their rental property, the old one was unlevel and was made with a variety of different materials including some very slippery wall tiles that were lethal in the rain. The other side paths already had paths made with 450mm square concrete pavers so I sourced the same size ones in as close a colour as I could find, in time they should match much better. I removed the old pavers and re-levelled the ground.
As the level was slightly higher by the side gate I re-hung it and made sure the old ironmongery worked again as it had not for some time.
There was also and old gas supply system that I investigated and fortunately found it was redundant so it could be removed. I removed the old materials and took them for recycling. I also put a new weed membrane down in front of the property window and put down a fresh new gravel layer.
