A friend from many years ago spotted my facebook page and asked me to help with a landing floor in his house. I removed, bit by bit, the old floor boards that had been attacked many times by various people over the years and were making many different noises, they were also uneven. I replaced them with larger panels and some heavy screws to make sure the floor is stable and importantly; will be accessible for the many tubes and cables that lurk beneath. This took all afternoon, partly because I was trying to get a really nice job of access and I made the effort to outline the utilities beneath so future trades can see which panels they actually need to open.
