I had a call from a landlord this week asking to fix a water leak in an out-building. Fortunately there was enough pipe accessible to cut off the section with the hole and cap it with a stop-end I happened to have with me. I returned the day after to put another washing machine outlet back on. 2 simple 10 minute jobs.
