I had a call to repair a towel rail in Meads Eastbourne, I also fixed a troublesome hinge. The mount for one side of the towel rail had pulled through the plasterboard, I nipped home and turned up 2 ply discs, then used 4 butterfly style bolts to reattach the mounts...
