Homemade compost is excellent for your garden, it’s an ideal fertiliser, organic mulch, and soil improver. Simply putting your garden and some of your kitchen waste in generates great compost within a year and timber composters (like mine) work a lot faster. You can find out more about them here.
This one is made from pressure treated timber and all cuts are treated with a clear preservative (just for peace of mind), I include a lid that is often overlooked as it helps increase temperatures and speeds up the content’s breakdown. The front panel is removable so you can access your lovely garden ready compost from the bottom without having to turn over the whole pile. More info from the Soil Association here.
The Composter 800 is named because it’s 800mm wide (square), it’s 95cm tall. Roughly 570 liter volume.

This can be delivered for free within the Eastbourne area, it will need some assembly as it’s built in sections for transport, I can assemble it for you but I have to charge for my time (£10)
